Default So many new games...

So with all of these new games coming out, let's have a discussion thread.

Well let's see...

On the 360, Halo 3 is coming out to be a smash hit, Bungie is doing a great job at promoting Halo. The fan base is huge. I myself don't have a 360, but I'm thinking of buying one for Halo 3.

PC:

Call of Duty 4: Modern Combat-It's looking sweet, and it will probably drive all the BF 2 players to CoD. With the sweet multiplayer system, awesome weapon customization, and destructible environment, it will be killer. Don't forget the single player storyline, it's looking kick ass so far.

Bioshock: Following system shock, this sci-fi shooter/RPG has an impressive background storyline. The injectable plasmids and mutations is looking good.

Fallout 3: So Bethesda, the makers of Oblivion, took over the Fallout series, they are doing a great job of making this sequel looking good. With the level scaling removed, and VATS combat system loaded, Bethesda have to feed the hungry Fallout fans.

Gears Of War: Yes it's coming out to PC, not much can be said though.

My opinion on Halo 3/Halo series:
Microsoft kind of screwed up with Halo 2. They did not scale the AI/Multiplayer to the pixel precise mouse. You can basically go through an entire level without getting shot. The controls are poorly done, dual wield doesn't really well. And WTF Vista only?!?!?!?! If Microsoft wants to maximize profiit, they should release Halo 3 for PC and 360. Which one will sell more???

So what do you guys think, and feel free to talk about other games on PS3, and Wii too lol.

I don't want to play as an alien in Halo 3. I hated all of the arbiter missions in Halo 2, they were all long and boring.

Im excited for Call of Duty 4, Crysis, and Gears of War coming to PC.

I cant say im interesting in any of the games mentioned by the OP however I am looking forward to EotN, Gw2, SC2 and SupCom:Forged Alliance. Bioshocks seems highly overrated tbh but thats just my opinion :P

Only Fallout 3 can break my GW addiction

I'm desperatly waiting for that game to come out. F1 and F2 were probably the best games I have ever played.

For Gears, it's not like Halo 2, they are actually going to add new content, and from what I've heard. Tons of it.

I played the Bioshock demo as well and, while it is a pretty amazing game, I think it was overhyped just a little.

Now for some strategy games:

World in Conflict-smoking right now, with the creative 3 way split approach to units, and no resourse gathering is appealing to some casual RTS players.

Universe at War-I don't know much about this 1. It's from the same people that made empire at war.

SC expansion-announced but don't know much about it

i here that jason and btw my friends and i play halo 2 lan weekly and have done some testing. elites are easier to kill the plants move, and up close most weapons seem to fire out of the elites faces instead of the gun exception being the plasma rifle since thats how they were made. ya cant wait for halo 3 i bought halo 2 for pc for 60 bucks omg now i need gold to get all the benifits out of playing it and the lag omfg. but its a gg none the less and vista is a huge failure but the bugs will be sorted out eventually. crisis is all 1 of my friends can talk about he discovered it nearly 2 years ago and im like wow get a life and do something other than researching a game that wont be out for over 2 years. so anyway starcraft 2 looks great aswell gona wait for gears 2 on 360 im not falling into that dumb get for both systems trap again so ya this 2007/2008 year of releases looks pretty cool

Wrath of the Lich King... Can't wait. Its quite a long ways away i'm guessing.

Oh and SC2, depending on whether my PC can run it well (unlike C&C3).

Oh yeah, and what i'd give for an Unreal 3. Bored of these Unreal Tournaments now.

Damn, come to think of it, I need to pay crap loads to be able to run and new and upcoming games.

I'm rather impatiently waiting for Starcraft 2. Hadn't heard that Fallout 3 was in the works, but that's great news to me. I love the Fallout series.
